I hadn't heard reference to this anywhere in Whoville, but I was casually going through the movies that open this week, and I see that White Noise was directed by Geoffrey Sax, who also directed the 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie. (He also directed Tipping the Velvet, which I also haven't seen.)

No idea if the movie is any good or not -- but still, always interested to see what happens with stuff like that...
